Glazed Pear Tart
2 packages (8oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp sugar, divided
1 tsp cinnamon, divided
3 firm ripe pears
1/4 cup apricot jam
Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll crescent dough; separate into 16 triangles. With wide ends of triangles toward the center, arrange 8 triangles in a circle on large round stone. Corners of wide wends will touch & points will extend 1" beyond edge of cooking stone. Arrange 8 remaining triangles in center, matching wide ends. Seal seams. (Points will overlap in center; do not seal)
Chop walnuts. In a bowl, combine walnuts, raisins, 1/4 cup of the sugar, 3/4 tsp of the cinnamon & egg; mix well. Place remaining 2 tbsp sugar & 1/4 tsp cinnamon in a flour/ sugar shaker; set aside.
Slice pears into rings.
Arrange half of the pear rings over seams in dough forming a circle.
Scoop filling evenly over pears. Arrange remaining pears slices in an overlapping circular pattern over filling. Sprinkle remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture over pears.
Beginning in center, lift one dough triangle across mixture. Continue alternating with outer triangles, slightly over-lapping to form a wreath. Tuck last end under first.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove to cooling rack.
Heat apricot jam in microwave-cooker on high for 30 seconds or until melted; gently brush over entire surface of wreath. Cut into serving slices.

My family purchased this item from Walmart.
I've baked chickens, pizzas, lasagna, mac n cheese. You name it, I've made it in this oven. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the convection feature. It seems to make cooking time shorter. I would give this 4 out of 5 stars.
- I neglected to use cooking bags when I first used this.
As a result the oven got really coated with caked on baked grease.
I mistakenly used oven cleaner in an effort to correct this.
Unfortunately, the result was a dulling of the previously beautiful stainless steel interior. I would suggest using oven bags for baking meats or anything that might spatter.
- On the bottom rack the elements are so close to the food, that you may have an undesireable result for a cake. It will have a dark line where the element was close to the cake.

I purchased this set to make quick work of preparing breakfast for my family.
I also wanted them to be able to make things quickly for themselves as well.
I love this stuff!
I love the quick prep & clean up. If you in a hurry to prepare more than just cereal, consider purchasing this set.
I use a plate under my Nordic Ware in case of overflow/spills. I also didn't want to risk possibly burning myself when transporting the cookware out of the microwave.
The Omelet Maker
Quick, Easy. The 1st time I prepared the omelette's, there was a weird hot plastic smell. The family loved them. I would suggest to lightly saute any veggies the night before and setting aside in the fridge.

The Egg Boiler
When my husband used this, he adjusted the microwave to the highest wattage setting. He cooked the eggs for 12 minutes. The eggs were soft. (actually runny inside).
He failed to allow the eggs to sit in the container for 2 minutes before removing.
When I used it. I just followed the directions on the box. I had ZERO problems!
This was great for making hard boiled eggs for tuna salad. They were cooked perfectly!

The Sandwich Style Egg Maker
This was so quick & easy, I could not believe it. I actually whisked 2 eggs right in the cookware. I would suggest using super thick oven mitts, and being super careful of the HOT steam when opening this. The lid closed in a weird way. It is not defective. It was almost as if the pieces did not belong together.
