Cranberry Glazed Chicken

It's getting colder outside. It's time to dust off the crockpot.
Do you work outside of the home? Do you have limited time? You will find the crockpot to be your best friend. It is very economical & you will love the results.

*If you don't have a crockpot, you could bake this in the oven on 350 for an hour.

INGREDIENTS

5 lbs of chicken
1 16oz can of whole berried cranberry sauce
1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
8 oz of French Dressing
3 chopped garlic cloves
fresh cracked pepper (about a teaspoon)

Rinse & dry chicken. Set aside.
Put cranberry sauce in a large bowl.
Break it up.
Add the dry soup mix, garlic cloves, & fresh cracked pepper
Add the french dressing
Mix everything.
Add the chicken, making sure to coat every piece with the cranberry mixture.

Place the coated chicken into the crockpot. cover the chicken.
Set the crockpot on low for 8 hours.

Serve over rice with a crisp green salad.

Enjoy!

**this was my 1st x preparing this in the crockpot. while there was a ton of gravy, i missed the glazed crispness one gets when preparing in the oven. i prefer to do this in the oven.

Hey girl, I made this last night and it was soooo good! I used chicken legs, because they were on sale for like 79 cents a pound. I also added a little garlic, and about 2 tablespoons of orange marmalade. Great recipe.
