INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
three ingredients in a jar that has a lid. Mix together with a fork.
The mixture will be lumpy.
Use instead of any nonstick sprays for casseroles, frying, etc. Use for cakes, muffins, cookies, breads, etc. that need a greased surface. Food will just pop off. Just apply with a paper towel or fingers to surface of cooking utensil.
Makes 1 cup. Store in the refrigerator.

Thanks for this. I can't stand when food sticks. It can really mess up a dish.
You're very welcome! A good tip when things are stuck, you can sit hot water, a lil' soap, tsp baking soda in the water. When the water has cooled, the stuck stuff should come right off. No need for all that elbow grease! I hate scrubbing pans.
